WANTED: Decent restorable original antique VW wheel rims in size 16 inches diameter x 3 inches wide. These would’ve been original equipment on early Split Window Beetles, per-1953. FOR SALE: 1966 VW Beetle, fair condition, glass intact, rebuilt engine (not the original 1300cc), replaced clutch plate, and started to replace the wiring harness. Unfortunately, due to health problems, I never finished nor did I ever start it since rebuilding the engine. The date of the rebuild was 10 years ago. It probably either could be finished by someone who knows what they are doing or used for parts. I have an assortment of items never installed and the car is sitting in my garage at this moment. FOR SALE: ’73 Thing, never been painted, “western” roll cage complete, less gas heater, hub caps and wiper parts missing. Universal turn signal switch, good usable top, need bracket on right side of windshield, 2 sets of poor side curtains, cool steering wheel, pipe front bumper, some floor repair done, should be redone, Beetle gas tank needs filler hose to work better, have old style with filler spout under hood, needs generator or regulator, runs a few DAYS on a overnight charge.
